Impressive Halloween clip from Petoi
Just wanted to let everyone know about an impressive Halloween clip featured by Petoi, the maker of Bittle. The clip shows Bittle wearing a costume out on a Halloween adventure to scare other ghosts. Instead, Bittle gets scared by the Gummy Bear and does a back-flip. Here is the video:
This clip shows many of the capabilities of Bittle which will truly appeal to the tech hobbiest. As the behind the scenes segment shows, Bittle can be programmed to accomplish many of the moves shown in the video by:
Petoi Desktop App Skill Composer. You can easily compose new skills with a neat UI.
Arduino Programming. You could add peripherals such as lights to Bittle’s board and program them by writing your custom firmware and installing the firmware on Bittle’s board.
Python Interface: You can program Bittle directly via a bluetooth connection from a desktop/laptop and ask it to perform skills and moves.
Bittle is a joy for the hobbiest and has untapped potential. Hope this video inspires some people to make their own versions of Bittle’s theatrics.
Update (11/2): Petoi team has posted a detailed tutorial on how they designed this video. Super-fun to read and very very useful.
