Wrap up for 2025
We saw some interesting developments this last week before Christmas. A while back, Benjie Holson describe his challenges for a Humanoid Olympics, which caught the attention of many in the community. Today Physical Intelligence released a blog post, showing that a robot equipped with the 𝝅0.6 model could handle most of the mentioned tasks. Both Benjie’s original post and the blog post from Physical Intelligence are must reads if you have spare time over the holidays.
Sunday Robotics also released a cool video showing their Memo robot grasp different objects. They also have a challenge asking you to submit ideas on tasks their robot could try. If your task gets picked, they will invite you to witness how their robot accomplishes it.
